As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Visitor Welcome in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and assist visitors with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, document security-related observations using computer or tablet tools, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, terminal public areas, access points, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
• Observe and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and traffic or pedestrian flow as assigned, helping to deter unauthorized activity and supporting an orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
