What You Will Do
Forescout has an excellent opportunity for an engaging and employee-focused Director of Inside Sales and Renewals to join our high-energy, multi-cultural, world-changing team.
Note this position will be on site in our Corporate offices in Plano (5 days a week).
Forescout is seeking a Director of Inside Sales & Renewals to lead and transform our Commercial Inside Sales and Renewals organization. This is a hands on, first line leadership role for a proven sales leader who excels at execution, team development, and building disciplined, high-energy sales teams.This role is based on site in Plano, TX and will play a critical part in stabilizing and scaling Commercial sales performance while strengthening renewal execution and customer retention.
You will be responsible for the following:
Lead Commercial Inside Sales (Primary Focus):
- Build and lead a high performance Inside Sales organization supporting Commercial accounts (primarily sub 5K employees).
- Own the full inside sales lifecycle, including:
- Discrete account ownership.
- New logo acquisition.
- Account management, expansion, and renewals.
- Establish and enforce repeatable sales motions, clear sales plays, and strong execution discipline.
- Drive pipeline generation, accurate forecasting, and consistent quota attainment.
- Lead the acceleration of Commercial sales performance, with a focus on immediate impact and momentum.
Own the Renewals Function:
- Lead the Renewals organization end to end, covering both Commercial and AMS Enterprise customers.
- Drive proactive renewal strategies focused on:
- Early customer engagement.
- Value reinforcement.
- Retention and expansion.
- Partner closely with Field Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, Channel, and Revenue Operations.
- Ensure strong operational rigor to maintain and improve net and gross retention rates.
Build and Develop High Performing Teams:
- Hire, coach, and develop Inside Sales and Renewals talent.
- Create a strong sales culture defined by:
- Accountability and ownership.
- Energy and enthusiasm.
- Continuous learning and improvement.
- Develop future field-ready talent and clear career paths from Inside Sales to Field Sales.
Drive Execution and Operational Excellence:
- Define and track KPIs, metrics, and inspection cadences.
- Improve sales productivity and visibility through effective use of tools such as Salesforce and Gong.
- Provide clear performance reporting and insights to senior leadership.
- Collaborate cross functionally with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations.
What You Bring to Forescout

Qualifications:
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience, including significant experience building and leading Inside Sales and/or Renewals teams.
- Proven success driving Commercial sales execution in a B2B environment.
- Strong background in pipeline management, forecasting, and metrics driven leadership.
- Track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high performing sales talent.
- Experience in SaaS, Enterprise SaaS, or enterprise technology preferred.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity or network security environments is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
