Work Schedule and Shift Premiums
Full Time (Nights) 7:00 pm to 7:00 am | 36 hours/week, including every other or every third weekend
- 2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour
- 3rd shift premium is $3.05/hour
- Weekend premium is an additional $2.00/hour

Qualifications
- Valid Michigan RN license
- At least one year of RN experience required, preferably in Labor and Delivery
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- BLS required, ACLS, NRP, and TEAM certifications required within one year of hire - all are available through Hillsdale Hospital
Responsibilities
- Taking vitals for the mom and baby
- Administering medication
- Monitoring contractions
- Identifying complications during labor and delivery
- Communicating the mom's condition and needs to the CNM and/or Physician
- Coaching the mom during labor and delivery
- Caring for the mom after she gives birth
- Caring for newborn
- Participating in unit specific/hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives and assist with activities that enhance quality of nursing practices
