Payroll Clerk

Description
Pay Rate 30.00/HR
- Performs the day-to-day processing of personnel payroll and accounts payable transactions to ensure that finances are maintained accurately.
- Requisitions office supplies, equipment, and other miscellaneous items for supervisors and managers.
- Thorough knowledge of clerical accounting and bookkeeping procedures as applied to verifying and posting financial data
- Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret instructions, policies, and procedures
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to organize and perform work efficiently; strong attention to details
- Strong math skills
- 2 to 4 years of relevant payroll experience, Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs), specifically Kronos/UKG Proficiency with a laptop computer and Microsoft Suite preferred
