Radiology Technologist - Full-Time

Radiology Technologist – Providence St Vincent Medical Center, Portland, OR. Responsibilities The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, and taking into account individual patients' unique and/or age-related needs. They use clinical knowledge and judgment in ensuring proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, technique and patient treatment to produce optimal high quality images, while maintaining ALARA awareness and minimizing radiation exposure to patient and operator. Qualifications Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Oregon Radiographer License upon hire, or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire. National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire. New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire. Compensation & Benefits $6,000 sign‑on bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all payment conditions. Salary range: $36.99 – $57.44 per hour, with potential for shift differentials, standby/on‑call pay, overtime, premiums and bonus opportunities.
