Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Operating Room RN Opportunity

Seeking an experienced OR RN to provide specialized perioperative care in a busy operating room environment. This role involves supporting pediatric and women's surgery cases with scheduled night shifts and weekend on-call duties.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure the smooth execution of procedures within scope of practice.
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures, maintaining clinical standards.
• Manage postoperative care, including patient recovery and discharge instructions.
• Document all clinical actions accurately in compliance with facility protocols.
• Float within scope as needed to meet daily operational requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active SC/Compact Nursing License.
• Hold a BLS certification; radiation badge requirements as specified.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in a pediatric setting and 2 years of traveler/contract experience.
• Demonstrate experience or familiarity with women's surgery and pediatric care.
• Be able to provide proof of recent relevant clinical experience.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience.
