The Maintenance Tech plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and longevity of equipment through timely repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. Working within a small team and reporting to a supervisor, this role is primarily on-site and offers opportunities for regular training and career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Perform equipment repair and emergency repairs
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Inspect systems for proper functioning and safety compliance
- Manage inventory of maintenance tools and parts
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities
- Provide technical support to team members
- Calibrate machines to operational specifications
- Maintain and repair tools to ensure reliability
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in maintenance roles
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical repair expertise
- Knowledge of electrical systems
- Proficient in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with safety procedures
- Skilled in use of hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Strong documentation and time management skills
