Our organization is currently looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Child Psychiatrist to become a part of our team at the Behavioral Medicine Center within the Department of Psychiatry. This role entails conducting onsite weekend inpatient rounds in child behavioral health units while also providing concurrent call coverage.
The scheduling can be flexible or set on a regular basis, depending on the needs of the department.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerforming inpatient rounds and addressing acute psychiatric concerns, either independently or alongside residents and/or nurse practitioners.
Responding to calls and collaborating with psychiatric residents to discuss and manage cases.
Working in partnership with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Offering supervision or consultation to residents and/or nurse practitioners when they are present.
The duties may be carried out autonomously, involve collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, and, in a training environment, may include working with residents and/or students when available.

Compensation & BenefitsThe listed compensation range is for the starting base salary only and will be adjusted based on years of experience and/or faculty rank, ranging from $190 to $195 per hour. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to the specific compensation plans of the department. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
