Staff Chaplain: PRN/As Needed at Burnet Campus

Staff Chaplain Status: PRN/As Needed Shift/Schedule: Greatest need is coverage for weekends (any shift) and nights. PRN coverage is sought for vacation and medical leaves. Pay Rate: $28.50 – $32.28 per hour. Additional $4.00 per hour shift differential on qualified hours. Location: Burnet Campus, 3333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229 Responsibilities Provide spiritual care to patients, families, and clinical staff. Advocate for patients and families and educate the healthcare team about the impact of religious and spiritual beliefs on coping and medical decision‑making. Work collaboratively with individuals of all religions and beliefs; offer prayer, listening, counseling, and resources that meet each person’s spiritual needs. Qualifications Graduate‑level theological degree from an accredited college, university, or theological school. Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education from an ACPE‑accredited organization. Ordination, current endorsement, or good standing in accordance with the requirements of one’s faith tradition or endorsing agency. Board Certification (or eligibility) recognized by Within three years of hire, submit an application for Board Certification with the appropriate faith group or governing body. Preferred: 2–4 years of chaplaincy experience.
