Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP)

Philadelphia, PA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0700–1930) | 3×12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week | At least 1–2 weekends per month required | No holiday requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care within a 32-bed maternity unit
• Float to Labor & Delivery and NICU as needed, delivering consistent, high-quality care across units
• Perform antepartum monitoring and fetal monitoring in accordance with evidence-based practice
• Deliver postpartum and newborn care while supporting the physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients and families
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to ensure patient safety and positive birth experiences
• Serve a diverse urban population across a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Labor & Delivery and/or NICU
• Experience in both Labor & Delivery and NICU settings (float capability required)
• Proficiency in postpartum care, newborn care, and antepartum care including antepartum monitoring
• Fetal monitoring experience required (certification not required)
• Current BLS and NRP certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for diverse urban patient populations across varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
• Familiarity with evidence-based maternity care practices and patient safety protocols
