Insurance experience is not required. Successful agents come from many backgrounds, including sales, customer service, education, agriculture, banking, healthcare, military service, and business ownership. What matters most is your initiative, relationship-building ability, and commitment to serving your community. 

Through our financed agent program, you will receive: 

• Base salary support as you establish your business

As an Insurance Agent, you will: 

• Build trusted relationships with individuals, families, farmers, and business owners 

• Learn about customers’ insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage 

• Develop referral sources and community partnerships 

• Prospect for new customers and follow up on sales opportunities 

• Grow and manage a book of business in your Wisconsin territory 

• Provide knowledgeable, responsive service throughout the customer relationship 

Agents who meet established performance expectations generally earn $75,000 to $85,000 in total first-year compensation , including base salary, commissions, and applicable bonuses. Actual earnings may vary based on individual performance and business results.

$48,000 - $85,000 (Base Salary PLUS Commissions and Bonuses)

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with personalized solutions. 

• Identify potential risks for clients and recommend appropriate insurance products to safeguard their assets. 

• Develop and implement a strategic business plan to grow your client base and achieve sales targets. 

• Engage with local communities by participating in events and organizations to build a network of referrals. 

• Collaborate with underwriting professionals to tailor insurance packages that align with client requirements. 

• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that arise. 

• Stay informed about industry trends and product updates to offer clients the most current and relevant advice. 

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, customers, business partners, or community members. 

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain information, products, services, or processes in a clear and understandable manner. 

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to accurately maintain records, customer information, and follow-up activities. 

• Ability and willingness to learn new information, stay current on industry developments, and apply knowledge to support customer needs and business goals. 

• Comfortable engaging with individuals, businesses, and community organizations to develop relationships and identify opportunities for growth. 

• Previous sales, customer service, business development, retail, hospitality, financial services, or other customer-facing experience is valued. We also welcome motivated individuals with transferable skills and a strong interest in building a career in insurance sales. 

• Experience supporting customers, clients, or business partners through application processes, service requests, problem resolution, account management, or similar transactions is a plus. 

• Current Property, Casualty, and Life Insurance licenses are preferred. Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing and able to obtain required licenses within 60 days of hire.
