Job Description Role Java Lead Chicago, IL Job Description: Looking for a highly skilled backend developer with expertise in Java and Spring to play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining back-end components of the web applications. Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable and efficient backend solutions using Java and Spring frameworks. Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements and wireframes into technical specifications. Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes. Required Skills: Java : Proficiency in Java programming language. Spring Framework : Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Data. JPA (Java Persistence API) : Knowledge of JPA for database interaction. Microservices : Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns. Oracle Database : Familiarity with Oracle database systems. Docker and Kubernetes : Experience with containerization and orchestration. Agile Methodology : Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer using Java and Spring. Solid understanding of Spring Framework and its core principles. Proficiency in working with databases such as Oracle & MySQL. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
