Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager – Doors, Frames & Hardware (DFH)

Location: Garner, NC

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in Commercial Doors, Frames, and Hardware (Division 8). This role will manage projects from estimating through completion, ensuring accurate takeoffs, specification reviews, customer coordination, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial door, frame, and hardware projects from bid to closeout
• Perform detailed takeoffs, estimating, and pricing
• Review blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
• Identify design, specification, and code compliance issues
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Review existing conditions and develop corrective action plans
• Support sales, estimating, procurement, and operations teams
• Monitor material usage, project costs, and profitability
• Lead specification interpretation and construction coordination

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Commercial Doors, Frames & Hardware (DFH)
• Strong knowledge of Division 8 products and manufacturers
• Experience with takeoffs, estimating, and project management
• Ability to read blueprints and construction specifications
• Knowledge of building codes and door hardware requirements
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Experience working with commercial construction projects
• Strong vendor and manufacturer relationships within the DFH industry
