Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

MS/Tele RN

Every other weekend required, with a typical posting of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Orientation consists of 40 hours.

Assignment Details

Travel experience is required, with a contract length specified by the facility.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year RN experience required
• Travel experience (at least one contract)
• 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Compact nursing license must be in hand at submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Core clinical skills: telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, respiratory support, acute care skills, team response procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients
• Monitor telemetry and manage dysrhythmias
• Administer IV therapies and manage central lines
• Facilitate respiratory support and blood product administration
• Respond to rapid response and code team calls
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety

Compliance / Notes

Must request all time-off and scheduling requests upfront. Facility policies regarding holidays and specific orientations will be provided during onboarding.
