TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74104!

Job Title: RN Telemetry I Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 PM - 07:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Critical thinking skills, ability to work under minimal supervision, ability to work in stressful environments Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patients' discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Cares for all cardiac needs including post-operative care. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4-6. Supported by patient care technicians and healthcare unit coordinators. Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring and monitor technicians is available. Serves a diverse population of all ages. Nurses work collaboratively in teams. May be required to float to cardiac telemetry and med-surg departments. Will be required to work up to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling period. Holidays may be required if needed by the department.
