Registered Nurse (PRN)

Registered Nurse (PRN) Copper Hills Youth Center, located in West Jordan, UT, is a private residential treatment center for adolescents 12-17 years old. The role supports a therapeutic environment for students. Responsibilities Assist in providing a safe and therapeutic environment for students. Initial and ongoing assessment of physical health of students and educate students regarding the connection between physical and mental health. Demonstrate knowledge of Nursing Department philosophy and maintain Standards of Nursing Practice and Standards of Care for all patients. PRN scheduling: PRN Days/Swings = Days (5a‑5p) & Swings (6p‑10p) OR PRN Swings/Graves = Swings (6p‑10p) & Graves (5p‑5a). Work 2 shifts every two weeks unless there is no need; cover 2 call‑outs in a rolling calendar year and cover either Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. Qualifications Utah RN licensure or multi‑state compact license to practice in Utah. 2 years’ experience in behavioral health/psychiatric nursing preferred, not required. Must be at least 21 years old; able to pass a criminal history background check and drug screen. Must attend mandatory new‑employee orientation and all other required training.
