Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Engagement in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. You will help address security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.36 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with established access-control procedures. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
