Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and an active NY RN license.

Details

• Operating Room (OR) department in a hospital setting
• Night shift hours: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY State RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in the Operating Room specialty
• Current BLS and/or other certifications required — must be from AHA or RQI
• Epic EMR experience required
• US Social Security Number required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal and religious declinations are not permitted

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius and must not reside in the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington — local candidates from these counties are not eligible
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• More than 3 call-outs during the contract period may result in termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
