Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hosp Central, US:CO:Colorado Springs Department: Radiology Diagnostic Employess Type: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Pay: $28.38 - $39.74 per hour. Shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends included. Pay depends on applicant’s relevant experience. Relocation bonus may apply for qualified candidates. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position. State licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date; BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. Responsibilities Review patient history and initiate radiographic images based on physician orders. Prioritize and provide procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation. Safely administer contrast media or imaging medications while monitoring patient condition. Respond to and report changes in patient condition as appropriate. Implement techniques to produce clear images and maintain quality control and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (AART).
