Part of customer service to ensure shipping on timePreparing finished product to ship to customer Adheres to performance standards in quality and quantity (Checking for damages as well as count)Following warehouse receiving and shipping procedures Accurately records and stores raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse Accurately handles and records all corrugated and plastic packaging products from receipt to storage and then to productionEnsures good housekeeping within the warehouseEnsure adherence to all safety practice like but not limited to: Forklift and dock doors safety check lists. Ensure usage of proper PPE Communicate any unsafe conditions or behavior. Adherence to golden safety rules.Performance Metrics:Number of Accidents, Near Misses, Observations of unsafe conditions/behaviors.Inventory Accuracy.Cycle Counting targets.Warehouse Inspection Score (safety and housekeeping).On time deliveries.ReportsCorrect Shipment (correct quantity/right time)Competencies:Ensures AccountabilityDecision QualityCommunicates EffectivelyInstills TrustCollaboratesValues DifferencesDrives ResultsWhat Makes You GreatHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in general warehousing, manufacturing or distribution preferredExperience with Forklift/Clamp Truck machinery preferredSafety awareness and quality consciousnessPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
