Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Nuclear Medicine

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with some procedures potentially running until 4:30 PM.

Assignment Details: Contract duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours available.

Requirements:

• 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
• 6 months of experience in Cardiac Imaging
• NYS Radiologic Technologist License
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program preferred
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision and clinical expertise.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Acquire and process diagnostic images, perform daily quality control, and maintain radio pharmacy operations.
• Manage and document patient data in the electronic record system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and enhance lab protocols.
