School Nurse Opportunity

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia (or eligibility for GA licensure)
• Previous experience in pediatric, school, or community health nursing highly preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and communication abilities
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Clear background check and immunizations, per state/school requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide health assessments, interventions, and education to students and staff
• Respond effectively to emergencies and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with meticulous attention to detail
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with all applicable protocols
• Communicate health concerns and care plans to parents, teachers, and administrators
• Participate in the development of individualized healthcare plans for students with specific needs
