Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a caring and highly trained Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist to join our expanding imaging team dedicated to excellence in patient care. In this role, you will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic examinations, working closely with a collaborative network of healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive timely and accurate assessments.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Guarantee patient comfort and safety throughout each examination, clearly explaining processes to alleviate concerns
• Engage with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality images that inform critical health decisions
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferably completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
