Workers' Compensation Paralegal

Responsibilities
- Manage task lists, calendars, and case lists with a strong understanding of the Arizona Workers' Compensation Act, Arizona Workers' Compensation Rules of Procedure, and Industrial Commission of Arizona (ICA) timelines and procedures.
- Prepare summaries of discovery, medical records, claim files, and depositions.
- Draft responsive pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Prepare hearing exhibits and IME packets.
- Schedule Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs), Commission IMEs, depositions, ICA mediations, hearings, and docket court-mandated deadlines.
- Produce accurate, high-quality work product with strong attention to detail.
- 2-3 years of Arizona workers' compensation defense paralegal experience.
- Strong knowledge of Arizona workers' compensation procedures and ICA requirements.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- The ideal candidate will be a proactive thinker, an excellent multitasker, and will work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Full-time, non-exempt position.
