Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois.

Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Hours: 36 hours per week | 12-hour shifts On-Call: None

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience.

• Valid Illinois RN License in good standing.

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.

• BSN preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients using the nursing process.

• Perform initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient and family needs.

• Implement nursing interventions, treatments, and procedures according to unit standards.

• Continuously evaluate patient conditions and modify care plans as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care.

• Promote patient and staff safety by identifying and reporting hazards and incidents.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

• Participate in departmental competency requirements and ongoing professional development.
