Position Overview

We are seeking a pediatric OT to join our team in a part-time or full-time role. This position is primarily focused on providing individualized clinical treatment to children in an outpatient pediatric setting.

Flexible scheduling is available, with a strong need for after-school availability. Applicants with experience in any area of pediatric occupational therapy are welcome, including sensory processing, fine motor development, handwriting, self-care, feeding, motor coordination, emotional regulation, and neurodevelopmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat children with developmental, sensory, motor, self-care, feeding, and functional participation needs within the clinician's scope of practice
• Complete initial evaluations, periodic re-evaluations, and develop individualized plans of care and functional, measurable goals.
• Provide evidence-based, engaging, and child-centered occupational therapy
• Educate caregivers regarding their child's needs, progress, and treatment recommendations and develop home programs and practical strategies that families can use between sessions.
• Collaborate with families and other members of the child's care team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using an EMR with scribe-assisted documentation features
• Communicate professionally and promptly with families and team members
• Participate in team meetings, training, and collaborative problem-solving
• Follow clinic policies, ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations

• Current Texas occupational therapy license
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage documentation, scheduling, and clinical responsibilities independently
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and caregivers
• Dependable, collaborative, and organized
