Heavy Equipment Operator (Mini-Ex & Skid Steer)

Job Description

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator (Mini-Ex & Skid Steer) for an immediate opening in Fort Pierce, FL.

Pay: $25.00–$26.00/hour (based on experience)
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 40 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 2+ months

Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description:

Operate a Mini-Excavator and Skid Steer on a large industrial water treatment plant project. Responsibilities include assisting with the installation of concrete-encased duct banks, supporting underground utility work, and working alongside crews performing wire pulling and pipe bending. Candidates must be able to safely and efficiently operate equipment while maintaining a safe job site.

Qualifications:

Proven experience operating Mini-Excavators and Skid Steers
Experience working on heavy industrial or utility construction projects preferred
Ability to work around underground utilities and concrete operations
Must be able to safely use hand tools, power tools, and required PPE
Must be able to perform physical job duties, including standing, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.

Additional Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
No drug screen or background check required
