Director of Information Systems

Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that align enterprise software systems with Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that align enterprise software systems with organizational strategy, priorities, and business objectives. Lead daily IS operations including system performance, ticket management, prioritization, escalation, and resolution. Supervise system administrators and support staff, ensuring clear ownership and accountability. Serve as the primary escalation point for unresolved issues and cross-system challenges. Establish structured support processes, service expectations, and performance metrics. Coordinate workflows across systems, departments, and software platforms. Oversee execution of system changes and releases with proper testing and communication. Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for support and change management. Manage day-to-day vendor support and elevate risks as needed. Ensure adherence to security, access, and compliance practices. Provide operational reporting and insights to the VP of Information Systems. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7–10 years of experience in IT operations. 3–5 years in a leadership role. Experience with enterprise software systems (ERP, CRM, EHR, etc.). Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong operational and strategic leadership and team management skills. Technology roadmap development and strategic planning experience. Ability to prioritize, problem‑solve, and drive execution. Knowledge of system support and change management practices.
