Medical Lab Technologist for Hospital Stat Lab

Labcorp seeks a Medical Lab Technologist for the Cherry Hill Hospital Stat Lab in Seattle, WA, working overnight Friday-Monday shifts. The role involves performing laboratory procedures, operating instrumentation, evaluating specimen quality, and maintaining accurate test results in a hospital-based setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess specimen acceptability according to established testing criteria
- Perform routine and complex technical laboratory procedures per departmental protocols
- Operate, monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper function
- Execute preventative maintenance, quality control, and reagent preparation procedures
- Generate accurate and timely test results to support patient care delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail with multitasking capability
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication
Compensation: $34.21-$52.14 per hour plus 3rd shift differential
