ARRT CT Scan Technologist Opportunity

MLR is currently hiring a Certified CT Scan Technologist to join our client's innovative radiology team near Thoreau, New Mexico!

Key Responsibilities for CT Scan Technologist:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to perform diagnostic scans with precision and care, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnoses.
• Review physician orders and patient histories to ensure appropriate imaging procedures are conducted.
• Work closely with radiologists to interpret and analyze CT scans, providing detailed results for clinical assessments.
• Monitor and guide patients through the scanning process, ensuring comfort and clear communication.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment to guarantee smooth, efficient operations and minimize downtime.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for both patients and staff.
• Keep accurate records of all procedures and patient data within the hospital's electronic system, maintaining patient confidentiality.

CT Scan Technologist Requirements:

• Certification as a CT Technologist through ARRT (CT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in New Mexico is required.
• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
• Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred.
