Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

NP/PA Emergency Medicine Opening - Urbana, IL Position Details Seeking a BE/BC Advanced Practice Provider to join our busy, Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department in Urbana, Illinois. Variable/rotating schedule: 12-hour shifts, 13-14 shifts required per 4-week block. Schedule rotates shifts monthly, including days, evenings, and overnights. 3 holidays per year (one being Christmas or Thanksgiving) / 4 weekends -shifts per 4-week block APP friendly group including over 15 APPs, 45 EM Physicians and on-site ED Pharmacists and ED Social Workers. No EM Residency Program Evaluate and treat patients with ESI 1-5 Level 1 Trauma Center with an average of 200-300 patients per day, over 92,000 visits per year 24-hour in-house coverage provided by Anesthesiology, Hospitalists, OB/GYN, Intensivists, Pediatric Hospitalists, PICU, and Trauma Surgery Education Requirements: Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Medicine APP experience required Licensure/Certification Requirements: Current Illinois Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse licensure/Physician Assistant licensure Compensation Package: Excellent benefit package Health/dental/life insurance 403-B plan with employer match LTD Relocation allowance CME allowance Paid malpractice insurance with tail insurance covered About the Location: Globally connected, innovative and culturally rich, Champaign-Urbana is centrally located to Chicago, Indianapolis and St. Louis and is home to one of the world's greatest public research universities - the Big Ten University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
