Industrial Field Service Engineer

Industrial Field Service Engineer Dynamatic LLC is seeking an Industrial Field Service Engineer to install, commission, troubleshoot, and support industrial drive systems, motors, rotating equipment, and power electronic controls at customer facilities. Location Sturtevant, WI (On‑Site) Travel Travel is typically 25–50%, depending on customer projects and installation schedules with occasional short‑notice service calls when urgent customer support is required. We're looking for someone with industrial field service, maintenance, commissioning, or troubleshooting experience who enjoys solving complex electrical and mechanical challenges while working directly with customers. What You’ll Do Install, commission, and troubleshoot industrial drive systems, motors, rotating equipment, and power electronic controls Perform startup support, operational testing, inspections, and system verification Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control system issues in industrial environments Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings Use diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and vibration analysis tools Support root cause investigations and corrective actions Train customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting Prepare service reports and communicate findings to customers and internal teams Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve product performance What We’re Looking For Required 5+ years of experience in industrial field service, maintenance, commissioning, controls, rotating equipment, power generation, or related industrial environments Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience working with motors, drives, rotating equipment, industrial controls, or power electronic systems Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Ability to work independently at customer sites Strong communication and customer‑service skills We Also Welcome Candidates From Backgrounds Such As: Industrial Field Service Engineer Electrical Maintenance Technician Reliability Engineer Rotating Equipment Specialist Military Electrical or Mechanical Technical Background Preferred Experience with industrial automation, PLCs, and control systems Experience with power conversion equipment, variable‑speed drives, or excitation systems Experience supporting heavy industrial, utility, power generation, mining, or manufacturing operations Why Join Dynamatic?
