Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation setting, requiring 6+ months of recent acute care PT experience.

Details

• 41-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility
• Day shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 8-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required with rotating weekend coverage
• Flexible start/stop treatment times needed
• Carries up to a 6-hour treatment load per 8-hour shift
• Patients require 3 hours of therapy daily; clinician responsible for tracking time/charges accordingly
• Uses Meditech Magic EMR
• Equipment includes ESTIM, patient lifts, transfer equipment, gym equipment, and vital sign machines
• Works alongside a multidisciplinary therapy team of 15-20 staff daily across PT, OT, and SLP

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care PT experience
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred
• Neuro certification or experience preferred
• Strong hands-on clinical treatment skills

• Best suited for a flexible, hands-on clinician comfortable with rotating weekend shifts
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
