- Full-Time Commitment: This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week).
- Shift Availability: Shifts may begin as early as 7:30 AM and may end as late as 4:30 PM. You must be available to work shifts within this range.
- Experience: Applicants should have experience and comfort working autonomously - independently managing workload, workflow, and patient care without constant oversight.
- Performing diagnostic ultrasound exams per physician orders
- Reviewing patient history and explaining procedures before each exam
- Positioning patients and adjusting equipment to capture high-quality images
- Operating ultrasound equipment and evaluating images during the scan
- Taking measurements, calculating values, and preparing preliminary findings for physician review
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
- Keeping ultrasound equipment properly maintained and ready for use
- Following safety, infection control, and quality standards throughout each exam
- Associate or bachelor's degree in sonography from an accredited school (Required)
- Current RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) Certification (Required)
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a certified sonographer
- Strong attention to detail, technical accuracy, and patient-centered care
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
