Spot Welder

Shift: 1st Shift

Location: Muskegon Heights, MI

We are seeking an experienced Spot Welder to join a manufacturing team in Muskegon County, MI. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for someone who is consistent, detail-oriented, and ready to grow with a company long-term.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate spot welding equipment to join metal components
Monitor weld quality and make adjustments to maintain precise tolerances
Inspect finished welds for defects and adherence to quality standards
Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production specifications
Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Qualifications

Prior spot welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting required
Ability to read blueprints and work orders
Strong attention to detail and consistent quality output
Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
Experience with resistance welding equipment a plus

Compensation: Based on experience
