Spot Welder
Shift: 1st Shift
Location: Muskegon Heights, MI
We are seeking an experienced Spot Welder to join a manufacturing team in Muskegon County, MI. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for someone who is consistent, detail-oriented, and ready to grow with a company long-term.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate spot welding equipment to join metal components
- Monitor weld quality and make adjustments to maintain precise tolerances
- Inspect finished welds for defects and adherence to quality standards
- Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production specifications
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Qualifications
- Prior spot welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting required
- Ability to read blueprints and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and consistent quality output
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
- Experience with resistance welding equipment a plus
Compensation: Based on experience
