Our client, a leader in steel fabrication and metalworking industries, is seeking a Shop Fabricator to join their team. As a Shop Fabricator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the shop floor operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Gillette, WY

Pay Range: DOE

What's the Job?

• Operate Oxy/Fuel cutting torches, plasma cutters, and other fabrication tools to shape and assemble steel components.
• Perform welding tasks, including beveling and track torch operations, to meet project specifications.
• Proven experience as a CNC table operator in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine and programming issues
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in executing cutting tasks

What's Needed?

• Previous experience with cutting torches, hand grinders, and steel fabrication preferred.
• Basic welding shop skills, including cutting, plasma work, and metal fabrication.
• Ability to operate a track torch and perform welding tasks.
• Willingness to work 40-50 hours per week.
