Schedule Monday – Friday, Daylight Shift Responsibilities Preparation of patients for cardiac stress testing procedure. Provide patients with information about the test and answer any questions related to the procedure. Obtain patient history and record in the EMR or PACS system. Assess patient vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respirations, lung sounds. Assist with patient positioning and monitor for comfort, safety, and post-stress recovery. Prepare imaging room and ensure equipment is clean and functional for daily operations. Assist with data entry into PACS software. Work closely with nuclear medicine technologists, cardiologists, nurses, and clinical staff to optimize patient flow. Relay critical information regarding patient condition or equipment concerns. Participate in continuing education and training related to cardiac imaging and safety. Monitor patients through 12 lead EKG stress testing. Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing consistent and excellent customer service and patient care at all times. Travel to client sites as scheduled. Additional responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or EKG/Cardiovascular Technician program One year of experience working in a clinical setting Ability to lift and assist patients on and off the camera Ability to push medical equipment as a team Valid Driver’s License Active BLS Certification Working Conditions Work is performed at outpatient imaging centers, hospitals, clinics, and/or physician offices with moderate to high patient volume. Team members must travel in all weather conditions in a company van. Physical Demands Ability to stand for periods of time. Walking, stooping, turning, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Occupational Exposure There is limited radiation exposure during nuclear medicine procedures when proper protocol is followed. Performance of clinical job duties has a reasonable anticipated risk factor of occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens or other infectious materials.
