MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Urology

As a Urologist, you will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating a wide range of urological conditions. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the well-being of our patients while working alongside a team of professionals committed to delivering the highest standards of medical care. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients
• Diagnose and treat urological conditions and diseases
• Perform urological surgeries and procedures as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients on urological health and preventive care
• Stay current with advancements in urology and medical practices
• Participate in continuous medical education and training

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of New York
• Experience in urology, ideally in a clinical setting
• Strong diagnostic and surgical skills in urology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Compassionate approach to patient care
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts

1-2 OR days per week

Call Requirement: 7 days per month

Daily Volume: 30-50 patients in the clinic

Cases: Bread & butter urology

Facility has 2 new ORs with DaVinci robots

Support Staff: 2 APPs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
