Provides relationship‑based patient‑centered care consistent with population specific characteristics (e.g., age, gender, disease) and adapts delivery to reflect cultural diversity. Partners with patients and significant others using appropriate methods (bedside shift report, interdisciplinary rounds, justified patient teaching) and keeps all parties updated, focusing on the patient’s goals. Practices current clinical practice standards. Teamwork and Collaboration Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care, promoting professional care delivery model and inclusive interdisciplinary communication (interdisciplinary rounds, case review, etc.). Demonstrates teamwork and collaborates fiscally responsibly, promoting recruitment and retention of all healthcare team members. Participates in performance improvement, research and utilization to promote safe, quality care; initiates and leads such activities and supports shared governance at all levels. Professional Development and Initiative Completes all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments, required mandatory education, and population‑specific training. Serves as preceptor or mentor for professional nurses, staff or students, ensuring a qualified future workforce and fostering a healthy environment. Evidence‑Based Practice and Research Promotes evidence‑based practice, nursing research and performance improvement; participates in value analysis for evaluating patient care products. Upholds all system policies, procedures, and clinical competencies, including legal, regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g., TJC Patient Safety Goals). Collects data, poses relevant clinical questions, consults experts, and uses appropriate resources to address practice questions. Resources and Support Proactively plans patient care across the continuum while giving direct patient care. Participates in developing protocols and procedures, collaborating with care managers and team members to achieve best practice outcomes (e.g., decreased readmissions). Supports efficient use of human and material resources. Required Minimum Education Associate’s Degree in Nursing or graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing – Required Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing – Preferred Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s) Reg Nurse (Single State) 1.00 – Upon Hire Required RN – Multi‑state Compact 1.00 – Upon Hire Required Basic Life Support 2.00 – Required BLS – Instructor 2.00 – Required BLS – Provisional 2.00 – Required Required Minimum Experience Less than 1 year: Completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours – Required Direct patient care experience – Preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
