Overview The Correctional RN works in collaboration with healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensure the well‑being of the incarcerated population. The role involves providing routine and emergency healthcare in a correctional facility setting, applying nursing knowledge within the unique constraints of a correctional environment. Minimum Requirements Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred Current CPR certification if applicable TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x‑ray if applicable Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Benefits Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
