Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in Lodi, California. This position involves performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures in accordance with accepted protocols as directed by physicians. The role includes producing images of internal body tissues to diagnose and monitor conditions such as heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer. The Ultrasonographer also supervises and mentors ultrasound personnel while maintaining equipment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Diploma/certificate from an Ultrasound college/school; certification and current registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB), or Vascular (RVT); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS); or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography (S) or (VS) within one year of hire; Basic Life Support (BLS or equivalent) certification from an approved vendor; valid certifications as specified.
• Additional Information: Uses ultrasound equipment to direct high-frequency sound waves, capturing images that describe the shape, composition, and motion of tissues, organs, vessels, and pathology. Provides direct patient care by assessing condition and preparing patients for procedures. Maintains accurate records and ensures the security of patient data in compliance with HIPAA and related guidelines. Verifies operational status of equipment before use and performs other related duties as assigned.
