Andrology Lab Technician

Andrology Lab Technician IVIRMA North America network of state‑of‑the‑art fertility practices in the United States is currently seeking an Andrology Lab Technician to join our growing Basking Ridge, NJ practice! Full‑time position Monday‑Friday 6am‑2pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Essential Functions And Accountabilities Maintains accurate and current records of patient reports and inventory. Adheres to the laboratory’s quality control policies; documents all quality control activities, as well as all instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed. Follows the laboratory’s policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory’s established, acceptable levels of performance. Studies and remains current and knowledgeable with the Laboratory Operating Manual regarding quality assurance, quality control, safety procedures and operating guidelines for performing all assigned laboratory services. Holds a comprehensive understanding of and follows all OSHA requirements for safe laboratory operations to maintain a safe laboratory environment. Assures quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards; follows practice, physician and laboratory division philosophies, as well as standards of care set by the state and other governing agency regulations. Works cooperatively with the Company multidisciplinary teams to provide good patient care and achieves the objectives and goals of the practice. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping all patient and proprietary information confidential. Adheres to signed HIPAA Confidentiality Agreement.
