Job Summary and Qualifications Under the direct supervision of the House Supervisor, according to hospital policies and procedures, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for her/his assigned patients. Less than 1 year Other required experience: 2 years minimum recent experience in two areas of hospital nursing patient care. 1-3 years 3-7 years Education Required High School Graduate Equivalent Alternate Entry MSN Program Associate degree Major: Technical Training Bachelor’s Degree Major: Other as Noted: Master’s Degree Major: If not required, education preferred: Other Degree Major: Completion of or actively pursuing an MSN degree *Required associate degree in Nursing any hires after 05/01/2020. Bachelor’s degree preferred Licensing Requirements Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. FT/PT/PRN colleagues with a compact license from a state other than Texas must: apply for Texas RN license within 60 days from hire obtain current TX RN license within 6 months of application for TX RN license.
