Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for an experienced Staff Engineer – Torque Tool Strategy in Franklin, WI .
Compensation: up to $165K/year + annual bonus + stock contribution
Position Overview
This role will lead the strategy, deployment, integration, and long-term support of torque tool systems across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead torque tool specification, programming, installation, validation, and sustainment
• Implement torque-monitored fastening systems and controllers
• Integrate torque systems with MES and ERP platforms
• Develop programming, calibration, maintenance, and manufacturing standards
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and IT/IoT teams
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
• 8+ years of manufacturing/process engineering experience
• Experience in high-volume, high-mix, or semi-automated manufacturing
• Strong manufacturing systems, project leadership, and continuous improvement experience
Preferred
• Master’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• Lean Six Sigma certification
Preferred Areas of Expertise
• Manufacturing Systems Design & Analysis
• Lean Six Sigma (LSS) / Design for Six Sigma (DFSS)
• Design for Manufacturing, Assembly & Automation (DFMA)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• CAD proficiency
