Production Technician

Finishing/Assembly Production Position

Perform a variety of tasks in the assembly process of the blade. Roles and responsibilities include following work instructions, wearing appropriate PPE, and following all health and safety instructions regarding chemical usage. Tasks include removing access tape and material from lightening cable inside the blade, applying zip ties to lightening cable according to work instructions to attach it to the web, taking out stay bolts from the ring on the root of the blade, inserting plugs into bushings around the root to avoid dust in the bushing, using two individuals to place a donut inside the blade utilizing sika, using hand tools/scraper to even out sika that is applied to the edge of the donut, and maintaining 5s standards.

Required qualifications include the ability to lift or carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs, push/pull heavy objects, work with hands for an extended period, stand for extended periods on concrete floors, knowledge of the department area, operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery, work individually and as part of a team, and stand/walk for long periods of time. Requires wearing of respirator.

Desired characteristics include a high school diploma/GED or related experience, and previous manufacturing experience.

Position shift: Mon-Fri flexible hours. For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the base pay for this position is $22.88-$27.50.
