Travel Registered Nurse - $5000 Retention Bonus DaVita is seeking a Traveler Registered Nurse who has dialysis experience and is willing to travel on a 4‑12 week assignment across New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado as part of the Air Lift travel team. The role involves caring for patients with end‑stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in an outpatient dialysis center. What you can expect You will work with our hiring manager to determine coverage assignment location and length of stay, typically 4‑12 weeks. Build long‑term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting. Collaborate with a small interdisciplinary team that includes technicians, dietitians, social workers, physicians, and the center manager. Enjoy a fast‑paced environment where you oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs for patient observations, vitals, and machine set‑up. Work shifts are typically 10‑12 hours, 3‑4 days per week, with early morning or daytime schedules; some holiday duty may be required. Serve as a clinical leader, driving quality improvement initiatives and meeting CMS performance standards. Full vaccination against COVID‑19 or a medical/religious exemption is required. Some details about this position You must be flexible on travel assignment location. You must communicate modalities, machines you are familiar with, and any special needs up front. You must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Current RN license in the state of practice (Graduate Nurse pre‑licensure available in some locations). Demonstrate a desire to deliver care empathetically and compassionately. Experience assessing, troubleshooting, and recommending in stressful situations. Excellent communication skills for patient and teammate interaction. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school (BSN or three‑year diploma may substitute). Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook; required charting in the electronic medical record system.
