Seeking dedicated and experienced Correctional RNs wanting a Travel Contract to join our Dynamic Team! Position: Correctional Nurse - RN Location: Ocilla, Georgia Schedule: Flexible schedule - weekends not needed Strating hourly Pay: Competitive pay with a travel per diem As a Travel RN working in Corrections, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a Correctional Center/Facility located in multiple facilities in Louisiana. What You’ll Do As a Correctional Nurse, you will be at the forefront of compassionate care in a correctional center. You will provide comprehensive healthcare services, including patient assessments, medication administration, emergency care, chronic condition management, and wellness promotion. You will maintain compliance with medical and legal standards, keep accurate documentation, and collaborate with healthcare providers and facility staff to deliver safe, professional care in a secure environment. Responsibilities Perform patient assessments, including physical and mental health evaluations. Administer medications, treatments, and emergency care as needed. Manage chronic conditions and provide patient education on health and wellness. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers and facility staff to deliver quality care. Follow infection control protocols and conduct screenings and immunizations. Support security measures while delivering safe and professional care.
