Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides critical emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency room setting. Manages acute incidents, performs life-saving procedures, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients quickly upon arrival to determine severity of conditions.
• Deliver advanced nursing interventions including airway management, IV placement, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing life-saving interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current registration.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in high-pressure situations.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
