Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for a manufacturing company in Peosta.

What You'll Do:

Fabricate weldments according to blueprints and AWS specifications
Complete job set-ups using process sheets and work instructions
Weld parts and components to precise specifications from drawings
Maintain and organize your weld booth for efficient workflow
Ensure fixtures are properly maintained and in good working condition
Support inventory processes, including reporting month-end inventory
Follow all safety policies and procedures in daily work

What We're Looking For:

Previous welding/fabrication experience
Knowledge of ISO standards and procedures
Familiarity with welding safety, including exposure to materials such as hexavalent chromium
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to manage time, shift priorities, and handle multiple jobs
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
High school diploma or GED required
