Maintenance Technician

We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a high-speed manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, and completing repairs to keep production running safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and equipment inspections
• Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs to minimize downtime
• Replace and align belts, chains, bearings, gearboxes, and other drive components
• Troubleshoot motors, starters, contactors, relays, and 240V/480V 3-phase electrical systems
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and production changeovers
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and maintenance documentation
• Accurately complete work orders and maintenance records
• Follow all safety, quality, and GMP standards

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working with 240V, 480V, and 3-phase motor systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair motors, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, and chains
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Experience performing and documenting preventative maintenance
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings

Preferred Experience

• High-speed manufacturing, packaging, or production equipment
• Filling, palletizing, blow molding, or conveyor systems
• GMP or food and beverage manufacturing environments

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
